Your TEACH free trial

What you can do during a free trial, what's locked, and how to keep going when it ends.

A TEACH free trial lasts 14 days from the day you sign up. During your trial you can explore the whole library, add projects, and read every lesson and resource. A few tools are saved for full subscribers; you'll see a lock icon next to them.

Locked features and your days left

  • Lock icons mark trial-locked features, such as Print in the project toolbar, Print a lesson plan on your Home project cards, Community in the top bar, and the PBL Lounge panel on Home.

  • Clicking a locked feature opens a window that says "This feature requires a full subscription", with a Purchase a TEACH subscription button. Close the window to keep exploring.

  • Days left: the top bar shows how many days are left in your trial, next to a Purchase TEACH button.

Keep going with a subscription

TEACH subscriptions are sold to schools and districts. There are two ways to keep going.

Your school or district already has TEACH: ask your TEACH administrator for your school's registration link and register with the same work email you used for your trial. Your projects and progress stay with you.

Your school doesn't have TEACH yet:

  1. Click Purchase TEACH in the top bar, or Purchase a TEACH subscription in any locked-feature window.

  2. Fill in the Purchase a School or District Subscription form: subscription details, an admin contact and a billing contact.

  3. Choose Send me a quote or Send me an invoice. The PBLWorks team will follow up by email.

When your trial ends

After 14 days you'll no longer be able to open your projects. Signing in takes you to a Continue your PBL journey page with a Purchase a TEACH subscription button. Once your school's subscription is set up, register with its link using the same email to pick up where you left off.

You can only have one free trial per email address.

Good to know

  • Use your work email. Trials need a school, district or organization email; personal addresses like Gmail aren't accepted.

  • Editing needs a Google account too. After you subscribe, connect a Google account to edit slides and handouts. See Connecting a Google Account.

  • Questions about pricing? Click Help Desk in TEACH's top bar, or see Contact PBLWorks.
