How to Copy Project Files to my Google Drive

With the click of a button, you can copy unit-level and lesson-level resources to your personal Google Drive.

There are two levels of handouts that can be copied: unit-level and lesson-level. Copying unit-level resources does not also copy lesson-level resources to your Google Drive. Lesson-level resources must be copied individually.

Copy Unit Handouts to Google Drive

PBLWorks Teach provides the ability to copy unit-level resources to your Google account. After you've copied a project into your My Projects space, navigate to the Project Design tab.

To copy materials to your Google Drive, click the Copy unit handouts to Google Drive button.

A modal will appear while the files are being copied to your Google Drive. This should be a relatively short process subject to bandwidth constraints.

When the process has completed, the following message appears containing a link to view your new files.

After you close the modal, note that the Copy unit handouts to Google Drive button has changed to say Open unit handouts in Drive.

To quickly reach your files in the future, click the Open unit handouts in Drive button which will open a new browser window showing your materials.

If you want to navigate directly do your files, open your Google Drive and look for a folder called PBLWorks Teach at the root. Inside of that folder, you'll find your project listed by name.

Copy Lesson Handouts to Google Drive

When you're ready to copy an individual lesson's handouts to your Google Drive, click on the Preparation tab and then click the Copy lesson handouts to Google Drive button.

A modal will appear while the files are being copied to your Google Drive. This should be a relatively short process subject to bandwidth constraints.

When the process has completed, the following message appears containing a link to view your new files.

After you close the modal, note that the Copy lesson handouts to Google Drive button has changed to say Open lesson handouts in Drive.

If you want to navigate directly do your files, open your Google Drive and look for a folder called PBLWorks Teach at the root. Inside of that folder, you'll find your project listed by name and your lesson content will be nested inside.
