Understanding the Project Path
In TEACH, the Project Path is a visual outline of the unit’s entire structure. This model supports students in engaging deeply with content, developing key skills, and producing authentic products and solutions to real world challenges. It’s divided into key phases:
Launch the Project: Introduces the project and activates curiosity.
Build Knowledge, Understanding and Skills: Support students in gathering the information and skills they need to answer the Driving Question (DQ).
Develop & Critique Products and Answers: design, prototype, and refine solutions or products that respond to the DQ.
Present Products & Answers to the Driving Question: Helps students share the final work with an authentic audience and celebrate learning.
Each phase contains a series of lessons that you can expand to see detailed activities and discussion prompts.
