Sharing handouts with students

Quickly copy a link to a student handout or teacher-facing Google Doc so you can paste and share it wherever needed.

  1. Open the editable resource

    • Navigate to the lesson that contains the document.

    • Click on the resource link (e.g., Final Individual Product).

  2. Click the “Share link” icon

    • Look for the link icon in the toolbar at the top right of the document preview.

    • Tip: hover over each icon to see a description of its function.

  3. Watch for confirmation

    • A snackbar message appears at the bottom: “The link was copied to your clipboard.”

    • The system automatically copies the Google Doc link to your clipboard.

  4. Paste and share the link

    • Use Ctrl V (Windows) or ⌘ V (Mac) to paste the link in email, LMS, chat, or slide decks.

    • Anyone opening the link will be prompted to make their own copy of the doc.
